SmartKidsEnglish is an online English-learning platform designed for children. By using our platform, you agree to the following usage rules:

• The platform is intended for personal, non-commercial educational use only.
• You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission.
• You may not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the platform.
• You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform, its servers, or its databases.
• You may not use the platform in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its performance or interfere with other users' enjoyment.
• All content on the platform — including lessons, songs, games, images, and videos — is the intellectual property of SmartKidsEnglish or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright laws.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these rules.

As a parent or guardian registering on behalf of your child, you are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and up-to-date information when creating an account.
• Keeping your login credentials secure and not sharing them with others.
• Supervising your child's use of the platform and ensuring it is appropriate for their age and needs.
• Ensuring that your child uses the platform respectfully and does not engage in any harmful, offensive, or disruptive behaviour.
• Notifying us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.
• Keeping your contact and billing information current so we can communicate with you effectively.

You are solely responsible for any activity that occurs under your account.

The safety and well-being of children is our highest priority. We have put in place the following safeguards:

• All accounts for children must be created and managed by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over.
• Children are not required to provide personal contact information such as an email address or phone number.
• Our platform does not include public chat features or social networking tools that would allow children to communicate with strangers.
• All live lessons are conducted by verified teachers who have been reviewed by our team.
• We do not display advertising targeted at children on our platform.
• Parents and guardians can monitor their child's progress, lesson history, and activity at any time through the parent dashboard.

Access to certain features of SmartKidsEnglish requires a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to the following payment terms:

• Subscription fees: Fees are charged in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan you choose. Current pricing is displayed on our pricing page.
• Automatic renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• Payment processing: Payments are processed securely by our trusted payment providers. We do not store your full card details on our servers.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for unused time.
• Refunds: We offer a refund within 7 days of your initial subscription purchase if you are not satisfied. After this period, fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
• Price changes: We may update our subscription prices from time to time. We will give you at least 30 days' notice before any price change takes effect.
• Failed payments: If a payment fails, we will notify you and may suspend access to premium features until payment is successfully processed.

Please read this section carefully as it limits our liability to you:

• Educational outcomes: SmartKidsEnglish provides educational content and tools to support English learning. We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes, grades, or language proficiency levels for any child.
• Service availability: We aim to keep the platform available at all times, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The platform may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.
• Third-party content: Our platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those external sites.
• Device and internet: You are responsible for ensuring that your device and internet connection meet the technical requirements to use the platform. We are not liable for any issues arising from your equipment or connectivity.
• Limitation of liability: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SmartKidsEnglish shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the platform.
• Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold SmartKidsEnglish harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the platform.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Either party may terminate the account at any time:

• You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at contact@smartkidsenglish.com.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law.
• Upon termination, your access to the platform and its content will cease. Any data associated with your account may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or by displaying a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the platform and cancel your subscription.
